Sincere words

You taught me more than any book could ever did, you show me how the world really works, you made me see reality and how hard it is, but I also learnt from you that everything can work out well if you put effort on it, if you do it with faith, strengh and love. And that even when you need to sacrifice so much, you'll receive more. That nothing in this life is easy if you don't try hard enough, that I have to stand up every single time I fall, that I need to keep on living even when life's trying to take my last breath. There's no enough time or words to describe how much I learn from you, I've never told you this, but I admire you a lot, and I know you have much more mistakes that you can count, but it all dissapears when I make the balance between what you gave me and what was missing. You don't tell me you love me as often as I'd like you to do it, but I remember those days when you spend all night awake because I was sick, and how you lost your temper when you know I'm in pain and you can't do anything about it, and then I understand how true is that an action is worth more than a thousand words. I love you dad, I love you so much, even though you have the deffects I'd always said I can't bear, I still believe you're the best dad I could have ever asked for.

P.S: I needed to write it and it came up in English, not sure why. I will write this to my dad on his birthday, of course, in Spanish :)
